Welcome to the Cleveland International Film Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the International Film Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Cleveland International Film Festival is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.
Cleveland International Film Festival Organized by the Cleveland Film Society, the Midwest's premier film organization, the International Film Festival is the annual March highlight in the city. First held in 1977, the festival now takes over Tower City Cinemas for 11 days of screenings, offering local premières and artistically and culturally significant films.
Selections are made from submissions of short and feature-length films, in addition to narrative, documentary, animated and experimental movies.
